Where's the Silver Lining?

Wow! It has been a week. Mom is still in the nursing home and now is crying alot and starting to throw tantrums for wanting to come home. I think they want to get rid of her soon and that will mean her coming back here to the same old stuff. She is definately weaker and now both her feet hurt her. Not good. My stress level has gone down some what with her being there. She is very demanding there and will give them a peice of her mind. She does not want to understand that I will not be able to care for her here the way she wants. And as far as people going in and out of this house, it is not going to happen. She is really better off where she is. Well no matter what it won't be long until the doctors decide something. I am not pushing it. I am going to wait and let them contact me first.

I Got Promoted!

Wow! I cant\'t believe I was promoted to Asst. Director. Mo Money, Mo Money, Mo Money......mo headache, mo headache, mo headache. Only thing I can say is that it will look good on my resume. So I will learn all I can and try to do a very good job. Nervous? Yes! But I know I can do it and do very well. Keep your fingers and toes crossed.

Foot Surgery Was A Success!

Over the Christmas Holiday I had corrective surgery on my foot. Boy, was I scared, becuase I rollerskate and love it dearly. I am now back on skates. It is going to take some getting used to. The stability is not there yet but I am working on it. I have unitl the Easter meet to get all the kinks out.
