Finally Everyone's Seeing It!

Mom is afraid to die by herself. She wants someone to sit by her day and night(me) to wait for death to snatch her soul. She cries and whines alot when I am near purposefully for me to hear and respond. I don't even acknowledge it even when I am in front of her. I talked to the nurse that will be assessing her and she seems to think what we all agree on is that she needs to be in a nursing home where they can care better for her. It wont solve the problem of her feeling all alone but if she if in pain they can give her medication for it. I hate leaving her here and all the neighbors drop in and snoop around the house while we are away. Plus I am noticing gaps in her being able to make decisions. She will say something and then totally forget what she was saying especially if she gets interrupted. We are trying this out for the week and see what happens.
